The Courage Award honors individuals or groups who have shown fortitude, strength, and dedication to empowering domestic violence survivors and their families through volunteerism, philanthropy, and commitment to eradicating violence from our communities. These awards are given by Peace at Home Family Shelter to acknowledge the contributions of the individuals who best exemplify the Shelter’s mission: to empower victims of domestic violence to survive and thrive. Dean Cynthia Nance will be this year's Courage Awards speaker, and we will be recognizing the advocacy of Judge Joanna Taylor.

We are excited to host this event with 400 community supporters to celebrate Judge Joanna Taylor and to raise critical support for Peace at Home Family Shelter!
